Neighbourhood Doulas was founded by two North Kensington mothers: Karolina Hardy and Carolyn Ouladzahra.
Karolina Hardy and Carolyn Ouladzahra met as new mothers at their local Children’s Centre in 2010. Their special friendship and compassion for other mothers/parents led them to train as breastfeeding peer supporters.
Their working journey began at Queen Charlottes Hospital and St Marys were they supported new mothers with breastfeeding and baby care.
They both qualified as baby massage instructors with IAIM and qualified as doulas with Red Tent Doulas and Doula UK.
Neighbourhood Doulas was set up in 2017.
